In a thickness range from 9 and 14µm. Producing continuous filament in a melt spinning process. SSE is working on this project together with a significant university. SSE’s target is to specify and engineer a pilot-machine which allows an upscale to a production machine.
The raw materials SVM und Co-Polyamid enable properties remarkable over the today available existing Para Aramide values. SSE is project leader in cooperation with investors, potential producers, machine suppliers and Universities targeting a complete line from dope preparation to winding.
In wet spinning the product need to be dried. The thermodynamic principles of the equipment used in this segment is an essential cost factor. Also important is the solvent recovery in the dedicated process step. Remarkable savings could be achieved using the optimal equipment. SSE supports in the energy related calculations and define the dimensions and temperatures of the heating components.
In the subsequent fixation process the yarn will be defined stretched and thermal fixed. The remaining solvent will be evaporated and recovered. Important here is the configuration of the drive systems and the components reliable for temperatures up to 430°C. SSE defines the drive and heating elements in regards of dimensions and properties.
SSE provides spare parts strategies customized to ensure the requested availability of the complete machine, sections and positions. This will optimize the process- and delivery capability and minimize the capital tie of the stored goods.
SSE started to overhaul Vectron-Inverters already in 2011 with the support of a professional repair shop. Till today there are more than 100 inverters overhauled by us and working daily in the machines. Subsequent of an overhaul procedure SSE guarantees a trouble-free operation of at least 1 year after start up
SSE calculates heat transfer rates and the energy consumption of vaporisation and fixation processes. The results lead to a clearindication of the energy consumption, the contact times and the potential of the solvent recovery for wet spinning e.g. for Aramide production.
